What is IEC 62443?
IEC 62443 is the international standard series for the security of industrial automation and control systems. It covers requirements for operators (e.g. 62443-3-2, 3-3), system integrators and component manufacturers (62443-4-1, 4-2).
Is penetration testing safe for production systems?
Yes, if it is done properly. We agree scope and methods with your operations team, prefer passive analysis on live systems and perform active tests in the lab, on redundant systems or during maintenance windows.
